Today in History: 14 yrs ago

Before the Internet existed, boys and girls, Annette and I got married at 6:00 pm on Sunday (yes, you read that correctly) at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Wichita, KS. A very tan Annette wore white and a very white Tim wore black. They looked good and were thrilled to have had nearly 3 days of pre-festivities with friends who drove and flew in from all over.

Annette's dad gave her away and Tim's dad conducted the service. Our mothers' were happy but fretted about mom stuff...like if this silly boy would be able to provide for their daughter and if this girl would be able to keep pace with their always-on-the-go son. Annette and I, we were just raring to get to the honeymoon part...we'd waited a long time.
